Looking Beyond Azimio Handshake Fears

Listening to a prominent political analyst recently on Spice F.M., the opinion was that there could be a silent deal between leaders who contested in the 2022 elections. This has been on many minds since the end of Maandamano.

Should the two parties come to a silent agreement, then the ball will be set rolling on a different course. Third, the potential of a strong opposition party that has so far shown performance in government oversight will be put to its truest test. The party stands to be sifted by the people ahead of 2027.

Lastly, the people politics Azimio had begun to assimilate with the country-wide rallies hangs on a balance. To be exerted or tossed aside. They had crafted a voice for the people on issues such as njaa or sufuria, cost of living, and electoral justice. What next for the people?
